Scattering Ashes Vancouver
Join us for an Ash Scattering in Vancouver. We are a family-operated business based in Crescent Beach, a suburb of Vancouver, BC we specialize in helping you plan a memorable and meaningful ash scattering service for your loved one. Our vessels and captains take you off the coast of Crescent Beach or another location of your choice (subject to approval) so you can celebrate the life and memories of your loved one in a beautiful and serene setting.
We have two vessels that can seat up to 12 passengers each. They are Transport Canada safety certified and have heated cabins, toilets, and music systems. Our captains and crew are experienced and compassionate. The boats travel and drift together at the destination for the service. We also provide life jackets, floater jackets, or floater suits for every passenger. After the service, we send you a certificate with the date and GPS location of the service. Please email us the name for the certificate after the service.
What to Expect from Your Ash Scattering Service in Vancouver
Our standard service lasts for an hour, including the time on water and the scattering of ashes. We ask you to respect this time limit as we may have other bookings or services. If you need more time, please contact us for approval. You can scatter only ashes and a small amount of flower petals in the ocean, as per environmental regulations. Staff will advise you if there is a need or suggestion to reschedule should the weather forecast dictate. If staff recommend, guests should be prepared to reschedule when conditions are more favorable.
We may reschedule your service if the weather forecast is unfavorable. Our staff will advise you if this is the case. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
Guidelines:
- If you have any health issues, consult your doctor and inform the captain before boarding.
- We may postpone or delay any trip due to weather, mechanical, or unforeseen circumstances. Boats may be delayed.
- We may assign vessels and seating at our discretion.
- Tours may vary in duration.
